no no no no no no no I have a huge problem with this as a concept

I mean, okay, look—I know you’re just trying to have fun with a TV show and a movie that you like and I don’t want to be that person because I really hate to be that person but exchanging the Japanese soldiers in The Pacific with a nameless faceless zombie army while maintaining the narrative integrity of the American characters essentially contributes to the effective erasure of the human experiences of these soldiers in a history that is already overburdened with the legacy of dehumanization on the basis of race and ideology and I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I know this was not your intention, but this is important to me and it just makes me uncomfortable.

THIS. sometimes zombifying things is great! sometimes it’s historically and culturally problematic.
